Join Shaun in practice of Qigong at Mindful Way Studio. This class combines slow, flowing movements, breath awareness, and mindful posture to support nervous system regulation, energy flow, and overall well-being.
Qigong is a gentle movement practice and the foundation of Tai Chi, designed to restore balance, energy, and harmony in the body and mind. It offers a calm, accessible way to move, breathe, and reconnect — without strain, pressure, or overwhelm.
As you move through the practice, the body begins to soften, the breath naturally deepens, and the mind quiets. Many students notice a feeling of grounding, clarity, and ease — sometimes within the very first class.

Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is a gentle movement and breathing practice that supports physical health, emotional balance, and nervous system regulation. Our classes focus on slow, intentional movement, breath awareness, and mindful presence to help you feel grounded and restored.
While yoga and Pilates often focus on strength, flexibility, or alignment, Qigong emphasizes gentle, flowing movements, breath-led motion, energy flow and relaxation, and nervous system support. Qigong is typically practiced standing and does not require getting up and down from the floor, making it very accessible.
Regular Qigong practice may help reduce stress and anxiety, improve circulation and energy levels, support immune health, ease muscle and joint tension, improve balance and coordination, and promote emotional regulation and mental clarity. Many students also report improved sleep and a greater sense of calm.
Mindful Way Studio offers small, semi-private Qigong classes, experienced and attentive instruction with Shaun, a calm welcoming space in Mokena IL, and a focus on quality of life and nervous system health. "I attended one of the sound bath evenings and it was one of the most profound experiences of my life. The space is beautiful, the energy is sacred, and Ania creates an atmosphere of complete safety and openness. There is truly nothing else like it in the south suburbs."
